WHEN: It's best to book your newborn session with me as early as possible. Most will book around 20-32 weeks. My calendar fills up fast and although I can usually squeeze in a last minute session, I still recommend booking early to avoid me having to turn you away. Maternity sessions are best when done around 29-34 weeks. Far enough along to have a good round belly but not too uncomfortable. I also have several gowns for you to choose from for your maternity session if you wish to wear.
NOW: You’ll choose your session type & submit your $100 deposit. This gets your due date on my session calendar and guarantees your newborn session. Once you deliver (no matter if early or late) we set your session date. Sessions are done within the first 14 days in my Murfreesboro, TN studio. (age adjustments are made for preemies & NICU babies)
WHEN YOU DELIVER: You shoot me an email or text (within 48ish hours please) & we set your session date YAY!
A FEW DAYS BEFORE YOUR SESSION: You’ll receive an email with session prep info to help you best prepare for a successful session.
SESSION DAY: Sit back, relax and enjoy the show. Parents LOVE to watch the amazing art of newborn portraiture. Naps are ok too ;) My studio is perfectly set up specifically for newborn sessions with everything needed......just bring your sweet baby.
AFTER YOUR SESSION: Within a week after your session you’ll receive your proofing gallery. This is a GIANT gallery of unretouched images from which you will choose your package & desired digitals. (within 72 hours please)
THEN: Your chosen images are fully re-touched & perfected and any products are ordered. Final online galleries are presented 2-3 weeks after your image choices are submitted. Product orders can take 3-6 weeks to arrive.
How it works...
**Returning Newborn clients ALWAYS receive a discount on newborn sessions.
***Additional images from each session may be purchased after viewing your gallery for $20ea.
